A frontrunner of the US anti-abortion motion and a robust supporter of former president Donald Trump has been dismissed from the Catholic priesthood over “blasphemous” social media posts and disobedience to bishops.
A letter despatched to US bishops from the Vatican’s ambassador to Washington says Father Frank Pavone has been defrocked and won’t be allowed to attraction.
