UN demands end to Myanmar violence; Suu Kyi set to appear for final arguments in Junta court

It has almost been two years since Myanmar’s army junta led the coup diktat and toppled the democratically-elected authorities. A number of elected leaders had been detained and charged with completely different sorts of crimes, amongst them was Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi.
